Key Features:

Mechanical Ventilation & Heat Recovery System (MVHR) installed in order to significantly improve the energy efficiency of the dwelling, reduce condensation levels and also provide for a more healthier environment.

The air tightness of the dwelling is significantly higher than Building Regulation requirements in order to maximise the benefits of the MVHR system.

The dwelling was carefully designed in order to fully enhance solar gain capabilities within a highly restricted plot.

Low energy lighting components were utilised throughout the dwelling.

The build has been featured in the magazine publication “Home Building & Renovating” on a monthly “blog” basis. At the end of the project the build will be subject to a 12 page special feature in the magazine.
