The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require the company to implement such arrangements as are appropriate, having regard for the nature of his activities, size and undertaking for the effective planning organisation, control, monitoring and review of the preventative and protective measures.


LCC will take all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure safe selection, use, maintenance, repair or replacement of plant, machinery and equipment.  A similar standard of care will be taken to cover all substances for use at the premises, including handling, storage and transport.


LCC will take all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure safe access and exit to any place of work is provided and maintained.


All employees must take reasonable care of themselves and any other persons who may be affected by their actions or failure to comply with safety rules and working practices at work.


Employees must carry out any necessary duty, which the law requires and co-operate with their employers to allow legal obligations to be met.  Anything provided for Health and Safety purposes must not be misused.
